One of the biggest weak points of the EA888 engine is the crankshaft shaft seal. Especially with performance-enhanced engines and increased crankcase pressure, the undersized seal often leads to leaks. The cause of this is often the original PCV valve. As soon as it no longer performs its function properly, the crankcase pressure increases, which the original shaft seal cannot withstand.
Our CNC-milled flange with optimized seal provides a permanent solution here. The stable and durable shaft seal is significantly larger and more than twice as thick as the original ring.
