Keep your Haldex all-wheel-drive system properly serviced with our Generation 2 Haldex Service Kit, designed for selected Volkswagen and Audi AWD models using the Gen 2 Haldex system.

This complete preventative-maintenance kit includes the Haldex oil, replaceable oil filter, drain plug and fill plug, giving you the essential components required for a proper Gen 2 Haldex service.

Regular Haldex servicing is particularly important on performance AWD vehicles such as the VW Golf 5 R32, Audi S3 8P Pre-face and Audi TT 8N Quattro.

Why Service the Gen 2 Haldex System?

The Haldex system helps distribute drive to the rear wheels when additional traction is required.

Unlike later Haldex generations, Gen 2 incorporates a replaceable Haldex oil filter, making replacement of both the fluid and filter an important part of preventative maintenance.

Over time, the Haldex oil deteriorates and contamination can accumulate within the system. Regular servicing helps maintain correct AWD operation and reduces the risk of problems associated with neglected Haldex maintenance.

Recommended Service Interval

We recommend replacing the Haldex oil and filter approximately every 40,000 miles (about 64,000 km).

Shorter service intervals should be considered for vehicles subjected to:

• Hard or spirited driving
• Track use
• Increased engine performance
• Heavy-duty use
• Unknown previous Haldex service history
