Keep your Haldex all-wheel-drive system serviced and operating correctly with our Generation 4 Haldex Service Kit, designed for selected Volkswagen and Audi AWD models using the Gen 4 Haldex system.

This preventative-maintenance kit includes the replacement Haldex filter assembly, seals, nylon retainer, securing screws, Haldex fluid, drain plug and fill plug required for a comprehensive Gen 4 service.

Regular servicing is particularly important on performance AWD vehicles such as the VW Golf 6R, Audi S3 8P and Audi TT/TTS/TTRS 8J.

Common Gen 4 Haldex Fault Codes

Faults associated with Haldex clutch operation can include:

• 01155 – Clutch – Mechanical Failure – Intermittent
• 02248 – Valve for Controlling Clutch Operating Angle (N373) – Defective – Intermittent

Fault codes should be correctly diagnosed before replacing components; servicing alone may not resolve an existing mechanical or electrical fault.

Recommended Service Interval

We recommend replacing the Haldex fluid and filter approximately every 40,000 miles (about 64,000 km).
